My Journey
Sig Morriar is the founder and executive director of SPM Intelligence where he leads the organization's strategic vision and execution.
With over 13 years of experience in the financial services sector, Mr. Morriar began his career in 2012 at Wells Fargo Advisors, contributing to the Wealth, Retirement, and Brokerage Group.
He subsequently transitioned to the buy side, specializing in portfolio engineering at The Boston Company Asset Management (now Mellon), before advancing to the sell side at a global macroeconomic research firm.
He then spent time on the buy side in the portfolio engineering of The Boston Company Asset Management (now Mellon Investments Corporation) before moving to the sell side at Hedgeye, an independent global macro research firm.
In In 2015, he joined an early stage FinTech company where he helped architect the risk management and business intelligence reporting for the firm's student loan asset-backed securities portfolios.
By 2019, Mr. Morriar assumed leadership of a risk management vertical at a publicly traded investment management firm, where he implements robust strategies to enhance the firm's resilience.

A graduate of Gordon College, a Christian liberal arts institution, Mr. Morriar integrates his faith-driven values with his professional expertise. This commitment inspired the creation of SPM Intelligence, a company dedicated to educating and empowering young professionals to excel in both their faith and finances.
Through this initiative, he merges his Christian background with his extensive experience in the financial services industry, fostering a holistic approach to personal and professional growth.
Mr. Morriar holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and continues to leverage his expertise to drive innovative strategies in business and risk intelligence.
